Soprano Maggie Burr is very active in Minneapolis with the Opera Reading Project, singing roles including Miss Jessel (The Turn of the Screw), Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro), and Despina (Così fan tutte). She has performed with Skylark Opera Theatre, St. Croix Valley Opera, The Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company, and Minnesota Opera, among others. She is also co-founder and producer of Mystery Opera Theatre.

She has been the soprano section leader/soloist at Mindekirken Norwegian church since 2012.

Burr is a native of Canton, Michigan, and currently resides in Minneapolis. She completed her Bachelor of Music degree at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.
